Texas Express Expanded to All Business Filings
In May, we advised you that Texas had expanded same-day and next-day expedited processing to additional filing types. The Texas Secretary of State has now completed the rollout of Texas Express, making same-day and next-day service available for all business filings.
Clients now have three expedited processing options:
- Same-Day Service ($750 plus the document filing fee) – Filings received by 12p CT will be processed by close of business the same day.
- Next-Day Service ($500 plus the document filing fee) – Filings received by 12p CT will be processed by close of business the next business day.
- Standard Expedited Service ($50 plus the document filing fee) – Filings will be processed before routine submissions and are typically expected to take 2–3 business days.
This expansion provides additional flexibility for transactions requiring accelerated filing timelines.
