Texas Comptroller Filing Deadline Approaching

We wanted to share a friendly reminder that Texas Public Information Reports (PIRs) are due to the Texas Comptroller on May 15, 2026. Entities over the no tax due threshold of $2.65 million will also need to file a Franchise Tax Report by that date. More information about franchise tax requirements can be found on the Texas Comptroller’s website.

Failure to file the required reports may result in forfeiture of the entity’s right to do business in Texas. In addition, those companies that are required to file a Franchise Tax Report may also be subject to penalties and interest.
