Expansion of Texas Same-Day and Next-Day Expedite Options

The Texas Secretary of State’s office has announced an expansion of the Texas Express expedited service, effective immediately. This update broadens the availability of same-day and next-day expedited processing to include foreign entity qualifications and amended registrations, as well as reinstatement filings.

As a national provider headquartered in Texas, we have deep experience working directly with the Texas Secretary of State’s office and are uniquely positioned to support all of your complex corporate transaction needs—including time-sensitive filings.

Three levels of expedited service are offered.
• Same-Day Service ($750 plus the document filing fee) – Filings received by 12p CT will be processed by close of business the same day.
• Next-Day Service ($500 plus the document filing fee) – Filings received by 12p CT will be processed by close of business the next business day.
• Standard Expedited Service ($50 plus the document filing fee) – Filings will be processed before routine submissions and are expected to typically take 1-3 business days.
While standard expedited service is available for all filing types, same-day and next-day service are limited to the following documents:

Same-day and next-day filings must be submitted in-person and we have boots on the ground in Austin. To allow us adequate time to prepare and deliver the filings, Capitol Services’ cut-off time for these filings is 10:30a CT.
