What’s your current role with Capitol Services? What was your first role with the company? 
My current role is Senior Corporate Client Service Specialist. My first role with the company was as a Client Service Specialist.
What is your favorite way to spend a day off?
Shopping, finding new places for lunch, and spending the day with my family and dog.
Where’s the next place on your travel bucket list and why?
I’ve always wanted to visit London. My dorky side has a fascination with the Tudor dynasty (Henry VIII, Queen Mary, and Queen Elizabeth I) and I would like to visit and experience some of what England has to offer.
What was the last TV show you binge-watched?
A hilariously funny show called Resident Alien. You can catch the first 3 seasons on Netflix.
If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Tacos, of course! Breakfast, crunchy, soft, street, all the above.
What’s one thing that can instantly make your day better?
Seeing my dog, Zoobey Doo! He’s a pit mix I rescued from the shelter 3 years ago and he is the kindest, smartest, most loveable dog ever. He never meets a stranger and those who meet him love him immediately.
What song always gets you out on the dance floor?
It’s been a while since I’ve been on the dance floor but back in the day, I was a huge fan of Eiffel 65. The song, “Blue (Da Ba Dee)” had me on the dance floor every single time. Oh, the memories!
What are you most proud of in the last year?
This year, my youngest graduated high school. I am so proud of the adults they’ve become despite the difficult childhood they started with.
What’s your go-to midnight snack?
I love chips. Chili Cheese Fritos, Hint of Lime Tostitos, or Jalapeno Ranch Ruffles.
When you started your current job, what most surprised you?
I’ve been in this industry for 22 years and the thing that most surprised me was that I finally realized I didn’t need to carry the weight alone. I was so used to carrying a bag full of rocks and Capitol helped me realize I could open that bag, hand each of my colleagues a single rock, and together, we’d carry them together.

Reading, baking, and crocheting.

Anywhere with mountains. Florida is way too flat!

I’m in a perpetual rotation of rewatching old seasons of Star Trek.
If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Generally speaking: Soup. Specifically: Fried Green Tomatoes.
What’s one thing that can instantly make your day better?
Getting takeout for dinner.
What song always gets you out on the dance floor?

What are you most proud of in the last year?
All of the crochet projects that I managed to finish.
What’s your go-to midnight snack?
Ice Cream – preferably coffee or something minty.
When you started your current job, what most surprised you?
The view from my desk of a tree with tons of animal friends.
