What’s your current role with Capitol Services?
My current role is the Registered Agent billing specialist.
What was your first role with the company?
I first came to Capitol 17 years ago as a Temp and did Accounts Payable. I was only here for a few months and hated leaving. Was so lucky to be able to come back about a year later.
What song always gets you out on the dance floor?

How old were you when you had your first celebrity crush, and who was it?
My first celebrity crush was Erik Estrada o Chips I was probably 7/8 years old! Lets hear it for Gen X and I still hope to meet him some day.
What’s your favorite way to spend time with your family?
Favorite thing to do with my family is to spend a few days on the coast surf fishing. Its so relaxing and so fun!
What are you most proud of in the last year?
I’m most proud of my stepdaughter and son in law, they graduated high school and immediately joined the Marines. They have accomplished so much in their young lives, and we are so proud of their service.
Do you live by any piece of advice or motto?
Daily Motto: I try to find something to be thankful for every day. Especially on the hard days, even a sunshine or sunset is something to be thankful for.
Who is your favorite sports team and why?
Favorite Sports Team- The best team, Texas Longhorns! I bleed burnt orange!
What is the one recipe you have mastered like an Iron Chef?
I am really good with making different Tex Mex Meals- like Carne guisada & Enchiladas & different Salsas , my next goal is to master bread.
What makes you feel at peace?
I feel at peace when I am connected to God and relying on faith.
Is there any product that you couldn’t live without?
The product I cant live without—My earbuds. I have about 4 pairs of the same brand!

What’s your current role with Capitol Services?
Sr Marketing Account Maintenance Specialist.
What was your first role with the company?
Marketing Specialist – I was hired to help create the Marketing dept. My role and the department have changed a lot over the years.
What’s your favorite way to spend a day off?
Crafting (getting paint, epoxy resin or glue on my hands) or binge watching whatever is the latest and greatest.
Do you have a favorite holiday? Why or why not?
It’s cliché, but I love Christmas. The festivities, the décor, all of it! There’s something so peaceful about turning off the lights, lighting the tree, settling down w/ a movie and a bit of nog that just makes me happy.
Where’s the next place on your travel bucket list and why?
The Philippines. I had some friends move there recently so it got added to my bucket list. I plan to visit next year.
Was the last thing you read?
I’m more of an Audible person right now, so I’m flipping between a Dean Koontz (Jane Hawk series) and a crazy (emphasis on “crazy”) fun series called Dungeon Crawler Carl.
How old were you when you had your first celebrity crush, and who was it?
10 years. Shaun Cassidy – according to the poster on my wall, he only had eyes for me too.
What song always gets you out on the dance floor?
ABBA’s Dancing Queen or as embarrassing as it, the Village People’s YMCA. Resistance is futile.
If you see a puddle on the ground, do you walk around it or over it?
You only make the mistake once (maybe twice) of going over a puddle like you’re a long jumper and then slipping when you hit the other side. I go around now.
What do you love most about the internet?
There is always something new to learn. I’m packing away all kinds of useless info. You never know when Jeopardy will come calling.
Do you have any pets? What kind? What are their names?
I have a tuxedo cat named, Ziggy. He’s a talker and loves to have his belly scratched (by me, he doesn’t bare his belly for just anyone).
